Shipping laws in the United States are still a mess. After
Prohibition was repealed, States were able to make their own laws concerning the shipping
of wine through their borders. We hope that more States will open up their borders
to direct wine shipments. Small farms such as ours depend on direct sales, and we
think it's ludicrous that distributors and politicians should decide what American wine
you can and can't drink. If you are not allowed to receive direct shipments of wine,
we suggest you write your local representative and express some outrage. Until then,
we welcome you to come to Santa Barbara County and visit us, buy some wine, and then we
can ship it back to you legally. We use UPS for most shipping.
